Landscape Architecture Technician
The profession of landscape architectural technician is currently a sought-after profession on the European labour markets. The professional tasks of a landscape architectural technician include preparing, arranging and caring for green areas, both in urban and rural areas. The landscape architecture technician supervises the care of parks, old trees and produces ornamental plants and nursery stock.
The graduate of the landscape architecture technician school after graduation will have knowledge and skills in the design, execution, care of contemporary and historical greenery facilities. The student is also prepared to obtain a category T driving licence.
Career opportunities:
A graduate of the landscape architecture technical school may take up employment in:
units preparing development projects for landscape architecture objects
implementation and maintenance units for landscape architecture facilities
administrative units supervising landscape architecture facilities
local administration units /e.g. in departments of: geodesy and cartography, environmental protection, shaping and maintenance of greenery etc./, – local administration units (e.g. in departments of: geodesy and cartography, environmental protection, shaping and maintenance of greenery etc.)
monument and nature protection services
tree, shrub and ornamental plant nurseries
as landscape owners
During the course of study, the apprentice passes two examinations confirming the qualifications of the profession:
RL.21. Designing, arranging and caring for planted landscaping facilities
RL.22. Organization of works related to construction and maintenance of small landscape architecture objects.
Our school has an E-sports league. It is open to all students, regardless of their chosen course of study!!!
